One of the hottest rappers in the Korean hip-hop scene right now, BewhY, will be heading to Sydney in September for his first international performance!  He was recently announced as the season 5 winner of Mnet hip-hop survival program ‘Show Me The Money’. It’s no small feat, considering he beat out a record-breaking 9,000 contestants who auditioned for the show this season.

He will be performing at a nightclub event in Sydney to kick off the Labour Day long weekend celebrations. See event details below.

Date: 30 Sept 2016 (Fri)

Venue: Space Nightclub, 127 Liverpool St. Sydney

Ticket Prices: Earlybird ($35), Regular ($40)

Check out the Super Sydney Facebook page for more details on how to purchase tickets.

The ‘Time Goes On’ singer also released a shout-out video announcing the special event.

Fun fact: He confessed in his ‘SMTM5’ winner press conference that his stage name was inspired by G-Dragon. The leader of Big Bang’s real name is Ji-yong where ‘Ji’ can be sounded out as ‘G’ and ‘Yong’ means dragon in Korean, hence G-Dragon. BewhY’s real name is ‘Byung Yoon’ so he used the pronunciation of his initials to create the name ‘BewhY’.
