Seems like local star Erin Miranda is making some fantastic progress on audition show ‘Kpop Star’. After making it through from the first auditions in Sydney last July, the Aussie rising star has been continuing to impress.
Although originally not picked when contestants were forming groups to have team battles against each other, she joined three other girls who were also leftover into a team called ‘Sparkling Girls’.
Despite being seen as an underdog team and having doubts as to how well they could perform, the girls have managed to blow away judges Park Jin-young, Yang Hyun-suk and Yoo Hee Yeol with their amazing rendition of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy in Love’.
You can watch her segment with the judges showering her team with compliments on K-Pop Star (Eng Subbed) here:
I remember seeing Erin perform previously at K-pop Summit cover showcases held by Crossover Dance Studios. It’s great to see that she’s improved in her singing and is getting her talent recognized by people like JYP & YG who are big in the K-pop industry.
She’s also previously been on X-Factor Australia. Although she unfortunately got eliminated at Boot Camp, she wowed the judges with her audition cover of Jennifer Hudson’s ‘And I’m Telling You (I’m Not Going)’, a video that has now managed to garner almost 5 million views!
