In another example of Kpop meets Hollywood, Aussie actor Hugh Jackman got his Kpop moves on during a guest appearance on Korean variety show ‘Star King.’ SISTAR, who were also guests on the show, performed a short snippet of ‘Loving U’ and he enthusiastically joined in to emulate their circling hip dance!
He also surprised Korean audiences by dancing Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ and even complimented the girls saying it was more fun to dance it with them than with Psy himself. He joked “Sistar, do you have room for a fifth male member to [add to] your band?”
Mm…not sure how I feel about having a buff male addition to the sexy Kpop girl group. The Sistar fanboys would probably get jealous, lol.
The hunky Hollywood actor revealed his knowledge of Korean words saying a few catchphrases such as “Saranghae” (I love you), “Gamsahamnida” (thank you) and cutely added “Jjang” (the best) to the end of his sentences whenever he got the chance.
Also on the show, the mighty Wolverine used his incredible strength to lift former wrestler-turned-MC Kang Ho Dong up in the air like a baby and was serenaded by Hyorin, who sung a rendition of Alicia Keys’ ‘If I Ain’t Got You‘.
The homegrown celebrity was on his fourth visit to Korea, this time to promote the new X-Men film, ‘The Wolverine.’
