Yay! A kpop band is finally having a solo concert in Australia. The band to set this new record is none other than CNBlue! Often when a Korean band announces they are going on a “world” tour, it only involves their nearby Southeast Asian neighbours and/or the USA. This time however, CNBlue will be embarking on their ‘Blue Moon World Tour’ to countries far and wide, making this definitely a ‘once in a blue moon’ opportunity for kpop fans in Australia. This concert will mark their second visit to Sydney, having played at the Sydney Kpop Fest back in 2011 along with 11 other kpop idol groups.
Concert Date: 1st June 2013 (Sat)
Venue: Big Top, Sydney
Ticket Price: VIP STANDING $159, A STANDING $ 99, A RESERVED SEATING $ 99
For those who don’t know where the Big Top is, it’s actually inside Luna Park. The only reason I know about it is because one of my favourite bands, Paramore, played there a couple of years ago. It’s not a huge venue but I think it would be appropriate and big enough for a CNBlue concert.
Hopefully this won’t turn out like last year’s disastrous Superjunior Supershow 4 concert that JK Entertainment cancelled at the last minute. Unlike the Superjunior concert, which was announced less than a month in advance, this CNBlue concert is still a couple of months away so there should be plenty of time for JK Entertainment to prepare for it. Can’t wait to see CNBlue performing live again!
